Landesk brings WinMagic SecureDoc into the fold

By

IT management specialist Landesk has announced the integration of WinMagic's SecureDoc encryption product with Landesk Managment Suite.

WinMagic SecureDoc provides full disk encryption, with support for Windows, OS X, Linux, mobile devices and portable media. All devices can be managed from one console.

A new deal with service management provider Landesk means that can be the Landesk console.

This is said to provide a single view of endpoint security and encryption across all devices and operating systems, reporting on which devices are encrypted, and centralised management of encryption keys, policies and configurations.

The integration between the two products has been certified, and is available immediately to Landesk customers.

"Data breaches continue to plague organisations exposing them to both financial losses and damage to their brand and reputation," said Landesk country manager Adam Blue (pictured).

"The integration of WinMagic with Landesk provides customers with a simple to administer, easy-to-use, cost-effective solution to help prevent data breaches.

"The integration of a leading encryption solution into an enterprise wide management tool helps to encrypt data on various devices, closely manage encryption keys and enable seamless user authentication and data access helping protect an organisation whilst not inhibiting user productivity."
