Logitech releases mice for World Cup football fans

By

Computer peripherals manufacturer Logitech is making a bid to capitalise on next month's World Cup football tournament by issuing wireless mice in the colours of different participating countries.

In a statement, the company said on Tuesday that its M238 Fan Collection Wireless Mice came in patriotic designs.

The mice are portable, can last up to 12 months on a single pre-installed battery, and work with all common operating systems – Windows, macOS, Chrome, and Linux.

The included nano USB receiver allows the user to roam up to 10 metres.

“Emotions are high for this year’s global football games, and fans want to show off their national pride and true colours,” said Damian Lepore, managing director of Logitech ANZ.

“The 2018 Fan Collection takes one of our most popular selling mice, the M328, and gives you a way to root for your team while working and supporting your favourite national team.”

The mice are available at JB Hi-Fi and retail for $24.95 each.

The World Cup football tournament begins in Russia on 14 June.
