The SmartDock has HDMI to connect to the TV screen, three USB ports for extension microphones, gigabit ethernet and a headset jack. An optional extender box can hide all that cable clutter and add additional functionality.
The main collaboration has been on the User Interface software that makes the Surface Pro 4 a Skype for Business Controller that works with all Logitech conference cameras and a wide range of other AV devices.

It supports up to 1080p @60fps video conferencing. It works via an integrated Surface “ribbon” Connector and is secured by a Kensington-style security slot.
The extender box uses a single 5m, five-in-one cable that includes dual HDMI, Ethernet, USB, and Power. It has 2 x USB 3.1 ports, and two amplified HDMI ports supporting up to 1080p @60fps. It also has an Integrated Logitech GROUP Hub with DIN ports for GROUP Camera and Speakerphone
